ABOUT

Traka is a 16 year old music artist and multi-instrumentalist from Cornwall, England. He often experiments in writing a variety of genres, however is centralised around heavy rock at heart. He first started writing music in lockdown, unable to play any instruments at this point, just using loops on garageband and singing for fun. This turned into learning to play the drums, in which he took lessons up to Grade 6, then stopped lessons, but continued playing drums everyday. He was in the crew for glastonbury as a walkabout act in 2023 and started learning guitar on the kidz field at glastonbury, and is now entirely self taught. This branched off into learning bass, and beginning to learn some basic chords on the keyboard, which has obviously become much more sophisticated nowadays. Today, he writes music in his bedroom with Logic, and also studies Graphic Design with OCAD alongside his Music Extended Diploma at City College.
